Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Zanussi Refrigerator.
General Safety Precautions
Ensure the appliance is installed and used according to the manufacturer's instructions. Avoid locating it near cookers, radiators, or in direct sunlight. This appliance is intended for domestic use only and must not be used for purposes other than storing food.
Regular Cleaning
Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning. Clean the interior with warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5ml to 0.5 litre of water). Do not use detergents or abrasive powders as they may damage the interior surfaces.
External Maintenance
Clean the exterior with warm water and a little washing-up liquid. Avoid using any kitchen surface cleaners that could damage the plastic components of the appliance.
Defrosting the Freezer
Remove frost when it reaches a thickness of 4mm using the ice scraper provided. There's no need to disconnect the appliance from the mains or remove the food during this process.
Dust Removal
Once or twice a year, dust the condenser (black grill) and the compressor at the back of the appliance using a brush or vacuum cleaner to ensure efficient operation and prevent excessive electricity consumption.
